Where rustic charm meets modern elegance

About Mount Hebron

George Washington's historic Mount Hebron Estate was formerly owned by our nation’s first president and passed down to his family successors. Nestled just outside the town of Berryville, Virginia in the picturesque foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains (and a mere 45 minutes from Washington-Dulles Airport), Mount Hebron offers an idyllic setting for a beautiful Virginia countryside celebration.

The Mount Hebron Barn

The newly-constructed, climate-controlled barn with bright open ceilings, elegant carriage lantern and bistro lighting, and ample space for up to 150 guests is the perfect place to host your reception or an indoor ceremony. A covered veranda provides a scenic space for guests to mingle during cocktail hour, the Washington Suite provides a preparation area and bathroom space, and an adjoining lounge area with reclined Adirondack chairs and a firepit is the perfect spot to take a break from the dance floor. Full access is provided 4pm on Friday until Sunday at 10am (flexible timing on Sunday) the weekend of your wedding. This itinerary flexibility allows for hosting your rehearsal dinner, and time before and after your wedding for flexible, non-stressful set-up and tear-down.

The serene, pastoral grounds surrounding the barn create a magical backdrop for outdoor ceremonies. Imagine emerging gracefully from the grand barn doors into the embrace of the sunlit landscape. Your guests and beloved await you, framed by the rolling hills and towering, colorful sycamore trees.

“From start to finish, our wedding at Mount Hebron was nothing short of magical. The venue itself is breathtaking nestled in the valleys of Clarke County with scenic mountains surrounding the gorgeous modern barn. Our friends and family couldn’t stop raving about how gorgeous the venue was and how seamless the entire event felt. We highly recommend this location for anyone looking for a hassle-free, affordable, and beautiful location for their wedding venue.”
